Alberta’s premiere bouldering festival is back! Tour de Frank 2023 will take place Saturday, September 9th 2023. The day will start out at the Frank Slide Interpretive Center with climbing taking place all over the slide before finishing back at the Interpretive Center for results, draw, and prizes. Participation is free, however donations are welcome so SABA can continue to operate and ensure climbing access to Frank Slide for years to come.
What to Expect
Registration will open at 10:00 AM on the day of the event at the Frank Slide Interpretive Center, with the event orrientation starting at 10:40. Tour de Frank will formally start at 11:00 and climbing will last for 6 hours until 5:00 at which point we will gather back at the Interpretive center to tally results, do draws and prizes, and wrap up the event. Details for the day can be found in the info package below as well as waivers.
What to Bring
- Climbing Gear (shoes, chalk, etc.)
- Crash Pads
- Food/Water
- Waivers – (SABA and Government of Alberta are required for participation)
- We will have waivers if you forget yours, however they will be limited
